Eugenia & Nissim – Classic Castle Wedding in Sands Point Preserve

Drawing their inspiration from the movie – The Great Gatsby, Eugenia and Nissim decided to hold their special day in a story-like mansion at Sands Point Preserve. Besides the opulent and dramatic rooms of Hempstead House, the dramatically descent-down mahogany staircase in the mansion, where the Princess is destined to meet her Prince Charming and lives happily ever after, does not only exist in fairytales. Without a doubt, the couple’s ceremony in the Rose Garden atop the beach and the dinner in the sunken palm court definitely impressed their guests with this spectacular, one-of-a-kind wedding experience.

A little bit about Eugenia and Nissim…

We met last summer in our neighborhood, where Nissim just moved in to his family’s summer house, and he walked across the street to greet us. He soon asked me out on a date to a bar in the area. By the time he showed up, I was almost about to give up the idea of meeting the right person, however, we ended up clicking right away during our first date, because we shared so many similar personalities and values. Nissim popped the question this January in the rooftop bar we’ve always wanted to go to, where all our families were waiting for us and took part in the joy with us.

Their favorite parts in the wedding…

Our favorite parts were the first glance, the grand entrance into the ballroom (to the song Happily Ever After from the Disney firework show, our favorite thing on Earth), the first dance (to You’ll Be In My Heart by Phil Collins, our favorite musician), and the father daughter dance. The father daughter dance was especially emotional for Eugenia, because she’d been thinking about that moment since she was a little girl.
